Elizabeth Davie

Elizabeth Davie is an award-winning performer, director and teacher from Melbourne. She has created and directed sell out shows for fringe and comedy festivals around Australia and her work has been featured in The Guardian, The Australian and The West Australian.

Elizabeth has studied clowning, improvisation and performance with Giovanni Fusetti, Philippe Gaulier, Philip Burgers, Deanna Fleysher and Clare Bartholomew. Her solo show Super Woman Money Program explored superannuation and gendered financial inequality, ranging from the political to the personal. It won the 2018 FRINGE WORLD Festival Best Comedy Award and sold out at Melbourne Fringe, Perth Fringe World, and MICF.

Elizabeth received the 2020 Adelaide Fringe Emerging Performer Grant for her show Apex Predator, a black comedy exploring every woman’s fantasy of having nothing to fear in a dark alley, or just going to the shops for some milk. It won critical acclaim at Melbourne Fringe, Fringe World Festival and Adelaide Fringe.
